1965 Alan Price leaves The Animals, to be replaced temporarily by Mick Gallagher and permanently by Dave Rowberry.
1966 The Small Faces release 4th single "Hey Girl" it reaches #10 in UK Singles Chart.
1967 Elvis Presley marries Priscilla Beaulieu at the Aladdin, Las Vegas.
1968 Buffalo Springfield performs together for the last time in Long Beach, California.
1969 The Turtles perform at the White House. Singer Mark Volman falls off the stage five times.
1970 The Beatles' last LP, Let It Be, is released.
1971 Mick Jagger marries Bianca de Macías in Saint-Tropez, France, in a Roman Catholic ceremony.
1972 Billy Preston becomes the first rock performer to headline at New York's Radio City Music Hall
1973 Mike Oldfield releases Tubular Bells, the first release on Richard Branson's newly launched Virgin label.
1975 Stevie Wonder performs before 125,000 people at the Washington Monument as part of Human Kindness Day festivities.
1976 Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue tour ends.
1977 The Stranglers and support band London start a 10 week national UK tour.
1978 In a performance used for The Kids are Alright, The Who play their last show with Keith Moon
1979 Elton John becomes the first pop music artist to perform in Israel.
